The primary objectives of the project were to learn the processes of international trade through a specific product category and to understand the marketing, governmental, political, economic, and other factors that influence international trade; the secondary objectives were to come up with a full fledged analysis of our chosen product category of gems and jewellery; the study has come up with strategies for specific exporters but has been developed for the country as a whole; the report also aims to provide important insights essential for the success of any exporter.
