Likewise, in the second section on development, such themes as sustainable development, Gandhi’s development philosophy, social development and new economic policy, equitable development paradigm, communication as a development resource, technological advancements and its impact on youth, civilizational transformation of indigenous people, state, market economy and rural degeneration, dynamics of economic reforms in revamping rural India, sociology of health and health inequalities as well as health care, suicides among cultivators, and biotech crops etc. have been discussed.
