Online resources: Summary: Ever since the outbreak of the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19, organizations around the world have adjusted and settled into a new work-from-home routine. Through this research, we have tried to understand the impact of this COVID-19 induced work-from-home routine on employee productivity in the management consulting industry. Management consultants are working from home, having virtual meetings and facing high cognitive load of staring into a screen. Consulting organizations are trying to improve these meetings and conduct them in a way that employee engagement and productivity is maximized. Some job responsibilities have decreased or stopped entirely; new priorities have popped up to take their place. Employees and leadership are experiencing stress in an incredibly disruptive environment. Apart from studying the impact on productivity, we have also studied the impact of various stress coping strategies on employee productivity, stress levels and general well-being.
