IIM-K Director Debashis Chatterjee will preside over the function. The theme of this year’s convention will be ‘India and indigenous strategies,’ and about 100 representatives from the industry and academia were expected to participate in the convention, a release issued here on Wednesday said.
The convention would discuss the success and failures of strategies adopted by Indian organisations to compete in a global market and try to decode functional secrets of Indian companies that enabled them to withstand the recessionary pressures of recent years. The conference would also highlight the uniqueness of the ‘eastern way of management’ to develop ethical and sustainable business enterprises, Saji Gopinath, organising secretary of the convention, said.
Over 80 papers on the theme will be presented in as many as 18 sessions.
